Part of the Jazz at LACMA series
Jazz pianist, composer, and arranger Hiroe Sekine has been living in Los Angeles since 1993, performing at venues and festivals across Southern California. Her debut album, a-mé (rain), produced by Russell Ferrante of Yellowjackets, was selected one of the best 25 albums released in 2010 by All About Jazz. Hiroe will be debuting her newest project, again produced by Ferrante, featuring an all-star line-up of performers.
Every year LACMA provides free admission (and a free bus!) to take many disadvantaged and grateful folks to Andell Family Sundays!
